Similar to Wedding guides you want to create a brochure (not a PDF!) where it has different pages of information such as expectations of working with you, how you’re going to treat them, deliverables, pricing, what’s included, etc. Be sure to share some of your boudoir visuals. Make sure there’s a page about you so they know who they’re working with.
You wanna be sure everyone is on the same page and covered on both sides. If there’s something important they should be aware of, include bullet points in an email.
When you have a questionnaire you not only can give them a great experience, but you’ll also be able to understand where they’re coming from (i.e. insecurities). You’ll be able to see why they decided to work with you, why they decided to follow through and how you can best deliver for them.
This is the #1 pain points when it comes to boudoir sessions— finding what to wear. Do you research and look for places you can vouch for. Even though the first thought we think of is Victoria Secret or Aerie, there’s so much more out there!
Head to Pinterest and study the poses you see and practice them on yourself so you can demonstrate them to your clients. The more you do boudoir session the more you’ll get into a flow.
Bonus tip: Make sure they’re not wearing a hair tie
A Few Q+As
How do you help your client and not confident? People appreciate feeling taken care of. If you can address their pinpoints right off the bat it’s going to be huge.
How do you determine pricing with locations? Make sure all of your expenses are covered and that you’re making a profit. While there is some hustle, in the beginning, take care of your necessary needs first so you can show up with your clients with more energy and intention.
How do you find the right makeup artist that fit your brand? Use the location tags, google, and hashtags on Instagram. See what you can find locally and that vibe with your style and connect with them.
This week we’re talking all about boudoir photography! I’m giving you tips from my experience as a boudoir photographer and how you can create an unforgettable experience with your clients.
