Details to Have Ready for Your Photographer on Your Wedding Day

Wedding days are a whirlwind. They’re so much fun, but believe me when I say the day absolutely flies by! I didn’t realize how true this was until our own wedding last Fall. That’s why the images you get from your wedding day are so important. I can’t tell you enough how much it meant to go through our wedding photos and see all of the moments from the day, some of which we didn’t even know were happening! Our wedding day photos are so special to us for that reason.

On your wedding day, you shouldn’t have to worry about a thing. To help you with that, here are some details you should have ready for your photographer before they arrive!

  • Save the Dates, Program, and Invitation Suite
  • The Rings
  • Wedding Gown, Shoes, and Veil
  • Groom’s tie, belt, shoes, and cuff links
  • Bridesmaid Dresses
  • Floral Arrangements
  • Any Special Keepsakes or Memoirs
  • Your Vows if They’re Written Down
  • Any Polaroid’s from the Day

All of these things will add more meaning to your detail photos! You’ll enjoy being able to look back and see what your invitations looked like, your rings placed on top of the vows you wrote each other, your wedding dress, etc.

I would recommend running this list by your photographer to make sure there’s nothing else they suggest you set aside!
