Infusco Coffee | Sawyer, MI

A few weeks ago I stopped in to visit Infusco Coffee in Sawyer, MI. I’d recently tried their coffee grounds for the first time and it was (no joke) the best coffee I have tasted yet. So rich and tasty. The best part is that I don’t have to put in as much creamer with their brew. If you know me personally, you know that my coffee normally needs an adequate amount of creamer in order for me to really enjoy it. But, with Infusco’s brews, I can put in between 1-2 teaspoons and it’s delicious.

While I was there, I got a little tour of their backroom and learned that they roast all of their coffee beans in-house. The beans come from plantations around the world, and they are able to employ workers in other countries by doing so. I was not expecting the amount of service that Infusco offers. By that I mean, they are passionate about helping others overseas and in our own hometowns who need work. In addition to employing individuals overseas through their plantations, they also have a partnership with Mosaic in Benton Harbor, MI where they teach individuals how to make coffee, and even hire some of them. I had the opportunity to watch the barista on duty teaching some of these individuals and it was very cool to experience!

I definitely plan to continue supporting Infusco, not only because of the quality of their grounds but because of who they are. I’m also a fan of supporting local businesses, so that’s an added bonus!

If you get the chance to stop in, I’d highly recommend it. Do yourself a favor and order a chai latte with almond milk (the BEST concoction I’ve ever tasted) – you won’t regret it.
