Last Fall, I began making plans to offer mentoring sessions for other photographers. After months of outlining the structure and putting together the materials, I hosted my first 1-on-1 in April! It. Was. Amazing. I met with Carri of Wildfire Photography, and we covered everything from camera settings to marketing yourself to posing clients.
First, we met at Union Coffee House for lunch and to talk about all things business. I showed Carri the differences between my camera and hers, and we covered a variety of topics. Branding, pricing yourself, marketing, editing, workflow efficiency…you name it. Next, we visited Autumn Moon Hollow Spa for hair styling by Elise & makeup by Lexi Pollock!
Next up was headshots for Carri! Isn’t she beautiful?!
From there, we went on to the styled shoot – an in-home session with the most adorable couple, Kala + Sean! A couple of behind the scenes…
